Gowi has been established on the UK market for over 10 years and is looking to hire a .NET Software Developer who would join the team and support further company growth. The position requires a developer with 3-5 years experience in .NET development.

You must be team oriented, with excellent communication skills, and have a strong character to drive the team forward. You must have:
• Expert ASP.NET C# Web application development skills
• Excellent analytical skills in problem solving and bug resolving
• Good knowledge of relational databases, SQL and database design
• Strong refactoring skills, writing clean, well commented code
• Computer Science related degree (preferred)
Key responsibilities
• Participating in the complete SDLC of .NET applications
o Analyzing requirements and giving estimates
o Capable to adopt new technologies in timely manner
o Designing and coding superior technical solutions
o Able to suggest the innovative solutions
o Understands complex database concepts
• Implementation of solution
o Implementing system features in various .Net technologies (ASP.NET, MVC, XSLT)
o Working on critical projects to meet deadlines
o Deploying applications to live environments
o Maintenance and problem-solving of existing applications. Identifying underlying or hidden problems and troubleshooting issues
o Testing of system features
• Maintaining existing applications
o Analyzing complex and legacy systems
o Ability to work systems that includes several different technologies
o Refactoring legacy code according to code standards
o Fixing problems in existing applications
o Consistently delivers high-quality services to clients
Professional skills
Required:
• .NET Framework 1.1, 2.0, 3.5
o Expert knowledge of .NET Framework, ASP.NET and C#
o Solid knowledge of Web and User Controls, state management, ADO.NET
o Solid knowledge of IIS, configuration, deployment
• Knowledge of HTML, XHTML
• Expert knowledge of MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 and T-SQL
• Good JavaScript knowledge, including some of the JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery (preferred) or Mootools
• Experience with Web 2.0
• Professional knowledge of MS Visual Studio in last 3-5 years
• Familiarity with XML, XPath, and XSLT
Appreciated:
• Usage of TFS, MS Visual Source Safe
• Knowledge of LINQ, Reporting Services, and ASP.NET MVC
• Knowledge of testing tools and techniques such as NUnit, Microsoft Web/Unit Tests
