I would experiment with this, but I do agree with the app argument. Who it's going to back this? Microsoft has failed at this. Android it's doing fine yet, their apps are not at the standards that Apple has. If Ubuntu manages to become the 3rd mobile OS than they've done a great job. I just don't see how it can be a smooth OS if they target a lot of devices. That's Androids problem right now... too many phones, too many unstable apps.
