POSITION'S DESCRIPTION
We have a challenging opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Project Manager for one of our product development teams. You will lead a highly skilled development team and be responsible for building up a new product within our On Demand portfolio. In your work you will need to focus on leadership, human resources, project management, software processes, and software technology to deliver high standard quality products as required by our customers. This is a challenging management position that requires a combination of managerial skills and system understanding. You have to conceptually understand both the technical and functional aspects of the products and how these work in the targeted market. Our staff works in small teams on a project basis collaborating with various other development teams, resellers, and customers across the international organization.
REQUIREMENTS, TECHNICAL SKILLS
• You have completed a master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or economics.
• You are team-oriented and genuinely interested in leadership and software development, especially in the area of Open Source software.
• We prefer that you have experience of managing software development projects.
• Experience of financial or logistic systems is an advantage.
• 5-year or more job experience is preferred
• Knowledge of these technologies is an advantage: Apache Web Server, Glassfish Application server, Liferay Portal, MySQL Database, NetBeans or Eclipse IDE, Subversion Source control, JUnit, JSF (Web framework) and Cruise control with Ant (build).
