System Administrator Linux / Windows
The Swedish IT company Mogul is currently employing more system administrators for Linux and Windows operations as well as application management.
In Mogul we are working in distributed teams with members from all of our offices. You will be a part of our IT Operations team, where you will be working with operating, managing and supporting internal and external systems. We are managing more than 100 physical servers and numerous virtual environments in several datacenters. In our environments we handle a multitude of different applications, such as very large Content Management or E-commerce solutions, as well as Telecom traffic and applications.
We believe in the integrated role of IT Operations and see the benefit of a DevOps oriented way of working.
In your work you will have assignment such as:
• Supporting and maintaining mogul internal systems and environments
• Solving operations issues and problems
• Proactive system administration
• Supporting internals tools for software development teams using the latest industry tools
• Take part in design and implementation of systems
• Maintaining software build and release CI systems
• Collaborate with the team and other roles within Mogul
• Take part in customer projects as a sysadmin
• Local office IT services
We think that you have experience and knowledge in some of the following areas:
• Advance skill in Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Debian) and Windows administration
• Shell scripting: Bash, Perl
• Build tools: Ant, Maven
• Databases: Mysql, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL
• Network skils: IPv4/6, routing, VPN, Firewall, Enterprise Network design and implementation
• Virtualization: VmWare vSphere
• SAN Operations
• Directory servers: Active Directory, LDAP,
• Application servers: Tomcat, Jetty, Glassfish
• Mail servers: MS Exchange
• Nagios/Op5 monitoring
Experience
• You have at least 3 years of professional working experience as a system administrator.
Merits
• Previous experience of working with the Atlassian products, such as Jira, Bamboo, Crowd, Confluence, Fisheye
• Experience of processes such as ITIL, Agile, Scrum or Kanban
• Experience of large vmware enviroments
• Experience of extremeNetworks, Alcatel, Aruba, Checkpoint administration.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and completely.
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills
• Ability to identify tasks which should be automated and then write tools to automate them.
• You are innovative and knowledge hungry.
• You are proficient in English in both talking and writing.
