Backend/SQL Developer (Novi Sad, Serbia)
About Us
Content360 is a 2 year-old startup, developing next generation web analytics services for evaluating content performance. Our clients are in a dynamic market of online content creation and publishing. The founding team has over 20 years of experience in publishing and content marketing with several great projects behind them. We are looking for employees for our Novi Sad office.
Responsibilities:
• Analyse and transform relational and non-relational data
• Design, implement and test data processing pipelines and data models according to product requirements
• Identify and define both process and data improvements
• Monitor and optimize data processing pipelines
• Supply input for key data-oriented design decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years of relevant working experience
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Hands on experience with MySQL
• Knowledge of Java is highly desirable
• Understanding of parallel processing & messaging concepts is a big plus
• Working with large data sets is a big plus
• Experience in data modeling in non-relational databases is a plus
• Understanding of database sharding and data partitioning would be an advantage
• Experience with BigQuery, RedShift & NoSQL databases will be considered as asset
• Experience with Scala or Python is a plus
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
