Java Developer (Novi Sad, Serbia)
About Us
Content360 is a 2 year-old startup, developing next generation web analytics services for evaluating content performance. Our clients are in a dynamic market of online content creation and publishing. The founding team has over 20 years of experience in publishing and content marketing with several great projects behind them. We are looking for employees for our Novi Sad office.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement and test integration services and web applications according to product requirements
• Contribute to the design and architecture to enable scalable, secure and maintainable software
• Deal with third party Cloud Platforms & Services (Google Cloud, AWS, ...)
• Investigate new technologies and suggest improvements to our product or development process
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ / preferably 5+ years software development experience (mostly Java)
• Familiar with Spring, Java EE, Maven, Git, REST, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax
• Understanding of concurrent processing & messaging concepts is highly desirable
• Hands on experience with MySQL & SQL
• Experience with Google Cloud Services, AWS or similar is a plus
• Experience with BigQuery, RedShift & NoSQL databases will be considered as asset
• Knowledge of Scala or Python is a plus
• Experience with Kafka, Flume or similar data ingestion solutions would be an advantage
• Big Data experience is a plus
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
