Ti izgleda slabo citas. Ili ne pratis. Taj 1.6 D4D je cetvorocilindricni BMW-ov motor koji je Toyota uzela samo ogoljen motor. Elektronika, ubrizgavanje i sve ostalo je Toyotino, kao i samo kvacilo i menjac. Motor jeste BMW-ov ali je sve ostalo promenjeno.
Pobrkao si sa 1.5 BMW-ovim trocilindricnim dizel motorom. Ovaj u Toyoti je 1.6 i to sa 4 cilindra (112KS i 270Nm sto je fakticki jace od 1.6 TDI po svim parametrima).
Elem, ne radi se uopste o tom motoru toliko vec o novom 2.0 D4D motoru od 143KS i 320 Nm:
"U ponudi će ipak biti i jedan dizelaš zapremine 2.0 l, a reč je o novorazvijenom D-4D motoru koji razvija 143 ks (105 kW), na 4.000 obrtaja, i 320 Nm koji su dostupni u opsegu 1.750-2.500 o/min. To je dovoljno da Avensis iz mesta do stotke stigne za 9,5 s i da dostigne 200 km/h. Kod ove verzije potrošnja iznosi 4,5 l/100 km, a emisija ugljen-dioksida 119 g/km. "
New 2.0 D-4D
The new, Euro 6 compliant 2.0 litre D-4D engine shares the low fuel consumption and emissions efficiency of its 1.6 litre sister unit, but has been tuned to offer drivers a stronger focus on performance.
Developing a maximum 143 DIN hp/105 kW at 4000 rpm and a generous 320 Nm of torque from 1,750 to 2,500 rpm, the new 2.0 litre engine's linear torque build-up and willingness to rev gives the new Avensis particularly strong in-gear responsiveness and acceleration. It will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 9.5 secondsand has a top speed of 200 km/h.
Numerous developments such as a new timing chain ensure the engine runs particularly quietly at all speeds, whilst Toyota's Stop and Start technology coupled with a tall 6th gear for motorway cruising enable the new 2.0 D-4D to return an average fuel consumption of just 4.5 l/100 km and generate CO2 emissions of only 119 g/km.:
Takodje, ako pazljivo citas, videces da je to novitet, kao i 1.2 Turbo koji ima solidnih 112KS i 185Nm dostupnih od 1500 do 4000 obrtaja. Takodje B92 iznosi netacan podatak o maksimalnoj brzini Aurisa sa ovim motorom: 167kmh. Pravi podatak je 200kmh:

The all-new 1197cc, 16 valve, 4-cylinder, direct injection turbo petrol engine offers a level of performance similar to the one of a 1.6 engine while its fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are remarkably lower.
The lightweight, highly compact unit features numerous sophisticated technologies, including direct injection, enhanced Dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent Wide (VVT-iW), a high tumble port cylinder head with an integrated exhaust manifold, a lightweight valve train system, a variable control oil jet system and a resin intake manifold and intake pipes.
The turbo, the direct injection allowing multiple injections, and the newly developed VVT-iW are working hand in hand to provide high torque at low revs, good performances and low fuel consumption.
The new engine has a maximum power output of 116 DIN hp, and develops an impressive maximum torque of 185 Nm from 1500 to 4000 rpm. Mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, this equips the new Auris 1.2 with a highly competitive 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 10.1 seconds, and a top speed of 200 km/h.
At the same time, the new engine returns average fuel consumption figures of 4.7 l/100 km, and generates CO2 emission of only 109 g/km, offering customers considerable cost of ownership benefits. Multidrive S transmission further reduces both fuel consumption and emissions, to 4.6 l/100 km and 106 g/km respectively."
U startu napravise motor malo jaci od 1.2 TSI. Da li je i bolji, videcemo. Svakako ima puno noviteta u samom motoru.
Ocekuje se, mozda, u dogledno vreme i 1.6 Turbo ali to su samo spekulacije.
